Dr. Chan is an Adult Rheumatologist and Clinical Investigator with Arthritis Research Canada. He has a clinical focus and research interest in the areas of axial spondyloarthritis and psoriatic arthritis.
His research focuses on early identification, long term outcomes, radiographic progression, and use of administrative databases. He is involved in the SPARCC and iPART longitudinal cohorts which follow patients with spondyloarthritis and psoriatic arthritis. Dr. Rao is a double Board-Certified Dermatologist (Canada and USA) and a Certified Cosmetic Surgeon. Dr. Rao completed his 5-year dermatology training at the University of Alberta, followed by an accredited fellowship with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in Southern California. He is a full Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Alberta, and has won several accolades for research and teaching, including the Canadian Dermatology Association’s Teacher of the Year Award. In 2011, Dr. Rao was the recipient of Avenue Magazine’s Top 40 under 40 Award. He also has authored over 50 scientific papers and textbook chapters, and has been an invited speaker for over 500 lectures worldwide to physicians, other professionals, and the general public.
Dr. Rao is also the creator and visionary behind ConsultDERM™, Canada’s largest teledermatology service, which allows healthcare providers timely access to assistance for patients with skin-related problems. As he has luminary status in advanced injection techniques, Dr. Rao is an official trainer of injectables (Botox and fillers).

Dr. Jan Dutz is Professor of Medicine and Dermatology and Head, Department of Dermatology & Skin Science at the University of British Columbia. He is a Senior Scientist with the Child and Family Research Institute (CFRI) where his research focus is the skin immune system and the manipulation of this system to both promote immune responses and induce tolerance.
Dr. Dutz is a rheumatologist and dermatologist. He has a special clinical interest in the cutaneous manifestations of autoimmunity. He has been on the Scientific Advisory Boards of the Canadian Institutes of Health’ Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis and the Canadian Dermatology Foundation. Carolyn Jack is a Clinician Scientist and Assistant Professor at McGill University, Divisions of Dermatology, McGill University Hospitals (St. Mary’s, Montreal University Health Center (MUHC), Jewish General Hospital) and the Center for Translational Biology, Research Institute-MUHC, Montreal.
Dr. Jack was awarded a Ph.D in Microbiology and Immunology for her work characterizing human T cell polarization and Toll-like receptor functional expression at the Montreal Neurological Institute.
Dr. Jack has contributed to our knowledge of autoimmune skin diseases with publications in the Lancet and the British Journal of Dermatology, developing expertise immunophenotyping cutaneous T cells in the context of dermatitis and in targeted therapies. Her research focuses on characterizing populations of resident memory T cells present in inflammatory cutaneous disorders with a focus on treatment with targeted therapies.

Dr. Bardi completed his training in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology at the University of British Columbia. Areas of additional training include a fellowship in musculoskeletal ultrasound through the American College of Rheumatology USSONAR program.

Dr. Perla Lansang is a full-time staff dermatologist and assistant professor in the Division of Dermatology, at the University of Toronto where she is the director of Undergraduate Education for the Division of Dermatology.
Having done two years of fellowship in paediatric dermatology at The Hospital for Sick Children and a fellowship in medical dermatology with a special interest in psoriasis, Dr. Lansang’s practice is a mixture of pediatric, adolescent, and adult dermatology, with a special focus on psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, cutaneous lymphoma, pregnancy dermatoses, and general medical dermatology.
Dr. Lansang’s interest in research lies in the ability to find new therapeutic options for the patient population in general. Additionally, research gives patients with difficult diseases presentation early access to medication that has the ability to improve outcomes and quality of life.

Dr. Elena Netchiporouk is an Assistant Professor and Director of Undergraduate Medical Education in Dermatology at McGill University. She earned her M.D. degree at Université de Montréal and dermatology residency training at the McGill University Health Centre with an Experimental Medicine M.Sc. degree from McGill University.
Elena is a Junior Scientist within the Infectious Diseases and Immunity in Global Health Program of the MUHC-Research Institute studying cutaneous autoimmunity, scleroderma and chronic urticaria. She leads a complex care, skin fibrosis and chronic urticaria clinics at the Montreal General Hospital Site of the MUHC.
Her research program is supported by several grants from the Canadian Dermatology Foundation, Association des Médecins Spécialistes Dermatologues du Québec, Department of Medicine (McGill University) and Ministère d’Éducation et Innovation du Québec. She is actively involved in Dermatology Residency Training Program and is the founder of the Interactive Dermatology Learning Platform for Dermatology residents and Primary Care Providers Montreal Derm FilEZ© (Montrealdermfilez.ca) set to launch in early 2021.
